SugarOak Realty is pleased to announce its pivotal role in the ongoing land transaction that is set to bring a $5 billion data center campus to Farmville, Virginia. Representing AVAIO Digital Partners, SugarOak Realty’s Andy Walsh has been actively involved in negotiations for a 280-acre site in collaboration with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) of Prince Edward County. While the transaction is still in progress, it marks a significant step forward in regional economic development and the advancement of high-tech infrastructure.
The fully zoned Farmville Data Hub, is expected to become a major data center campus, featuring five state-of-the-art facilities. With fiber access, utilities, and water supply secured, AVAIO Digital has been making significant progress on site preparations. The company is actively engaged with Dominion Energy to secure 300 megawatts of power, ensuring the site’s readiness for future large-scale operations.
